  • Do all of your dogs live with you?

    Yes, each and every one of our dogs is a part of our family. We love living life with them. From softball games, cutting wood to feeding the chickens. They tag along wherever we go. Although we are excited to add a guardian program into the breeding program in the future.

  • Do your puppies come potty trained?

    We have a very effective way we raise our puppies to set them up for easy potty training once they arrive at their homes. At the age of 4 weeks, we start our litter box training. Our puppies are never going to be 100% potty trained. This method makes it much easier for puppy parents to start straining once they get home. We have much success and wonderful feedback from this program.

  • What about Crate training?

    We are firm believers in crate training here. We start crate training our puppies at 4 weeks of age. They start off in the crate at night with momma and littermates. All crate training is strictly observed at bedtime. At 4.5 weeks we remove mamma from the crate and puppies learn to go without eating through the night. This also teaches them to hold their bladders. By the time 8 weeks come around puppies will be very familiar with their crate and the puppy parent’s main struggle will be separation at that point.

  • Grooming needs?

    All doodles require regular maintenance on their fur. Putting your puppy on a 6-8 grooming schedule is encouraged. They will need to be bathed once a week and brushed daily to keep up with their beautiful coats. Doodles are in popular demand because of their gorgeous, soft, curly coat.

  • Vet Visits?

    We take our puppies to our highly respected local vet at the age of 6 weeks. Here they receive their first round of vaccinations, a weight check, a wellness check, and the next round of dewormer. When they pass their check-up, then the vet will issue a clean bill of health dated and signed. The puppy’s new parents will need to have a vet visit scheduled within 72 hours of pickup.

  • What Food do you use in your program?

    We use Diamond brand food for all of our adult dogs. Our puppies are on the Diamond puppy food. You will receive one week’s worth of food in your care package at pick up. You can purchase this food at any farm and fleet store.

  • How large will my puppy get?

    This depends on the breed. We do all mini’s and micro mini’s. Mini doodles average right around 30 pounds. Some a little more and some a little less. All micro mini’s will be under 15 pounds. All weights given are for a healthy dog.

  • How do I pick out a puppy if I live out of state and have to get a puppy shipped?

    A visit at 5 weeks is always encouraged. Although I understand for many cases this can’t happen. Zoom calls are scheduled and can be done daily if you would like. We let you, the buyer watch us do daily chores with the puppies. Let you watch them play. and of course answer any and all questions you may have about each of them. The relationship between breeder and puppy parents is very important to us. WE love to be involved with all puppies after they leave our home for lifetime support.

What’s Included

Puppy Training Course

We have a team of puppy trainers here at Haaspawz. Prices start at $450. This includes 4 weeks of training. Your puppy will be placed in a home with a loving family who will train your puppy. We work on crate training, potty training, basic commands, and leash training. Depending on the disposition of the puppy the list above will be accomplished by week 4. You will be in direct contact with our trainers who will determine if puppy needs additional time to the 4 weeks to finish the training. You will get weekly pictures and updates from your trainer.   • As a breeder, I take a very hands-on approach to birthing my puppies. I am there at all hours of the night helping mamma with labor pains and catching each of the little sacks. Bringing them into this world safely. Ensuring they take their first breath and taste that first drop of milk. The bond between breeder and puppy is very strong. As I rejoice and take pictures of the birthing process to the tears shed when we lose one. There is a strong bond that most will never experience.

  • If not done right this process can be very dangerous for both mamma and puppies. This is handled with much care and vigilance. Once the puppies teeth start coming in the weening process is started. We start off on soft puppy food twice a day with water available throughout the daylight hours. We let momma nurse throughout the day. Night-time feedings are cut out. We then transition from nursing to more foods slowly winning momma and puppies. We then transition to hard food and ensure all puppies are digesting food well. By the age of 8 weeks, they are fully weaned and are on hard puppy food.

  • Socialization is a crucial part of raising healthy pups. We start at birth handling our puppies daily. We introduce them to new smells, sounds, voices, and faces during the course of our 8 weeks with them. We play with them daily and also introduce many strangers. Every part of this process is important to ensure a well behaved gentle pet.

Health and Wellness

 

  • Health Guarantee

    Haas Pawz guarantees the health and wellness of your puppy at the time of adoption. As your breeder we pass along a one year health guarantee against any disease or genetic defects. This guarantee is honored only if owner gets adopted puppy checked by their local vet within the first 7 days of owning their pet. Your puppy has been checked by our local vet and has been cleared with a clean bill of health. Your puppy has received all their deworming and vaccinations by Dr. McGonigal of Fieldstone Veterinarian. It is the reasonability of you as the owner to keep your puppy UTD in their proper care. This health guarantee is only honored if the owner has all records of care received by their local vet. If a puppy needs to be returned for any reason that qualifies for this guarantee you will be given a replacement puppy of your choice with the next litter available. Please contact us to make such an arrangement.

  • Your puppy will come up to date on all their vaccinations and deworming. Continued care will be required by puppy parents to continue the health of the puppy.

    Instructions on vaccinations:

    Always take your puppy to the vet within the first 7 days of adoption. We encourage you to get your puppy on a vaccination schedule given by your local vet. They will give you instructions and guidelines for heartworm, flea and tick prevention, deworming, and microchip instructions.

    The care of your puppy is very important to us! Please contact your local vet with any emergencies.

  • The health and wellness of your puppy are the highest on our priority list! We offer lifetime support to you and your puppy. Puppies can be returned to us if you find yourself in any position to not care for your pet anymore.
