  • Do all of your dogs live with you?

    Yes, each and every one of our dogs is a part of our family. We love living life with them. From softball games, playing with our children, and being apart of our everyday lives. They tag along wherever we go. Although we are excited to announce we have added guardian homes to grow our breeding program in the future.

  • Do your puppies come potty trained?

    We have a very effective way we raise our puppies to set them up for easy potty training once they arrive at their homes. At the age of 4 weeks, we start doggy door training in the kennel. Our puppies are never going to be 100% potty trained. This method makes it much easier for puppy parents to start straining once they get home. We have much success and wonderful feedback from this program.

  • What are their grooming needs?

    All doodles require regular maintenance on their fur. Putting your puppy on a 6-8 grooming schedule is highly encouraged. They will need to be bathed once a week and brushed daily to keep up with their beautiful coats. Doodles are in popular demand because of their gorgeous, soft, curly coat.

  • Have they been to the vet?

    We take our puppies to our highly respected local vet at the age of 6 weeks. Here they receive their first round of vaccinations, a weight check, a wellness check, and the next round of dewormer. When they pass their check-up, then the vet will issue a clean bill of health dated and signed. The puppy’s new parents will need to have a vet visit scheduled within 72 hours of pickup.

  • What food do you use in your program?

    We use Diamond brand food for all of our adult dogs. Our puppies are also on the Diamond puppy food. You will receive one week’s worth of food in your care package at pick up. You can purchase this food at any Farm and Fleet store.

  • How large will my puppy get?

    This depends on the breed. Mini doodles on average are right around 30 pounds. All micro minis will be under 15 pounds. All weights given are for a healthy dog.

  • How do I pick out a puppy if I live out of state and have to get a puppy shipped?

    A visit at 5 weeks is always encouraged. Although I understand for many cases this can’t happen. Zoom calls are scheduled and can be done daily if you would like. We let you - the buyer - watch us do daily chores with the puppies, watch them play and of course answer any and all questions you may have about each of them.

    The relationship between breeder and puppy parents is very important to us. WE love to be involved with all puppies after they leave our home for lifetime support.

Want to give your new Haas Pawz baby a little extra head start? We’re happy to offer our Puppy Training Program!

We have a wonderful team of puppy trainers who work with our puppies in loving family homes, giving them the one-on-one attention, patience, and consistency they need to learn and grow.

Training packages start at $450 and include up to 4 weeks of training.

During their time with their trainer, your puppy will work on some of those important first puppy skills, including:

Every puppy is unique, and we always take their individual personality, maturity, and learning style into consideration. Our goal isn't simply to check items off a list—it's to help your puppy build confidence and develop a strong foundation for life with their Forever Family.

Throughout the training process, you’ll have direct communication with your puppy’s trainer. Your trainer will keep you updated on your puppy’s progress and may recommend additional training time if your puppy needs a little extra time to finish building those skills. We want your puppy to be set up for success, not rushed through the process just to meet a deadline.

And of course, you’ll get to enjoy weekly pictures and updates from your trainer so you can see your sweet baby learning, growing, and having fun along the way!

How We Give Our Puppies the Best Start in Life

  • As a breeder, I take a very hands-on and devoted approach to the birthing process of my puppies. From the first signs of labor through the late hours of the night, I stay right beside mama, comforting her through contractions and carefully helping welcome each puppy safely into the world. I am there to make sure every little one takes their first breath and receives that very first drop of nourishment.

    The bond between a breeder and their puppies runs incredibly deep. I celebrate each new life with joy, photos, and precious memories, while also grieving the heartbreaking losses that can sometimes come along the way. It is a connection filled with love, dedication, and emotion — one that many people may never fully experience or understand.

  • If not handled properly, the birthing and early care process can be very delicate and potentially dangerous for both mama and her puppies. Every stage is managed with great care, close attention, and vigilance to ensure the health and safety of both.

    Once the puppies begin developing their teeth, we slowly begin the weaning process. We start by introducing softened puppy food twice daily while keeping fresh water available throughout the day. During this transition, mama continues nursing during daytime hours, while nighttime nursing is gradually reduced. Over time, we carefully shift the puppies from nursing to solid food at a gentle pace that is comfortable for both mama and puppies.

    As they continue to grow, we transition them fully to hard puppy food while closely monitoring each puppy to ensure they are eating well and digesting properly. By 8 weeks of age, the puppies are fully weaned and confidently eating hard puppy food on their own.

  • Socialization plays a vital role in raising happy, confident, and well-adjusted puppies. From the very beginning, we handle our puppies daily to help them become comfortable with human interaction and affection. Throughout their first 8 weeks, they are gently introduced to a variety of sounds, smells, voices, environments, and new experiences.

    We spend time playing with them each day and carefully expose them to different people and friendly strangers to help build confidence and positive social behaviors. Every step of this process is intentional and important in helping each puppy grow into a gentle, well-mannered, and loving companion.

Because transportation is provided by a third-party shipping company, Haas Pawz is not responsible for your puppy once they leave our care with the transportation service. However, we don’t just send your puppy off and leave you on your own! Our team stays involved throughout the journey and helps coordinate with the transportation nanny from the moment your puppy leaves Haas Pawz until that sweet baby is safely in your arms.

We stay in communication throughout the trip and are here to help navigate the process, answer questions, and keep you updated along the way. Our goal is to make bringing your Haas Pawz baby home as smooth, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.

Local Delivery

When we can, we are happy to offer local puppy delivery to help make bringing home your new best friend as easy and stress-free as possible! Our local delivery service is available within surrounding areas for a $50 vehicle maintenance fee, plus $1.00 per mile traveled. Your puppy will travel safely and comfortably, and we will coordinate delivery details with you to ensure a smooth and exciting welcome home experience.

Health and Wellness

 

  • Health Guarantee

    Haas Pawz guarantees the health and wellness of your puppy at the time of adoption. As your breeder we pass along a one year health guarantee against any disease or genetic defects. This guarantee is honored only if owner gets adopted puppy checked by their local vet within the first 7 days of owning their pet. Your puppy has been checked by our local vet and has been cleared with a clean bill of health. Your puppy has received all their deworming and vaccinations by Dr. McGonigal of Fieldstone Veterinarian. It is the reasonability of you as the owner to keep your puppy UTD in their proper care. This health guarantee is only honored if the owner has all records of care received by their local vet. If a puppy needs to be returned for any reason that qualifies for this guarantee you will be given a replacement puppy of your choice with the next litter available. Please contact us to make such an arrangement.

  • Your puppy will come up to date on all their vaccinations and deworming. Continued care will be required by puppy parents to continue the health of the puppy.

    Instructions on vaccinations:

    Always take your puppy to the vet within the first 7 days of adoption. We encourage you to get your puppy on a vaccination schedule given by your local vet. They will give you instructions and guidelines for heartworm, flea and tick prevention, deworming, and microchip instructions.

    The care of your puppy is very important to us! Please contact your local vet with any emergencies.

  • The health and wellness of your puppy are the highest on our priority list! We offer lifetime support to you and your puppy. Puppies can be returned to us if you find yourself in any position to not care for your pet anymore.
